Advertising can be mailed to us at New Spirit Journal, 14911 Chain Lake Road, #431, Monroe, WA 98272, or can be placed through our website by e-mailing ads@newspiritjournal.com.

You may also place your classified ad via our online server. See rates at right.

Other Stuff You Need to Know:

Advertising is available on a first-come, first-served, space-available basis.

The advertising content of the publication will be kept to around 50-60%. Many publications run 75-80% advertising content. We believe the lower advertising content will allow the publication of more articles, making for a more interesting experience for our readers. We do encourage the readers to support our advertisers since it is this revenue which supports the newspaper financially. Businesses and individuals who advertise in New Spirit Journal agree to do so in a spirit of cooperation, honesty, and with the goal of helping to co-create a happier, healthier planet.

We accept advertising at any time so it is not necessary to wait until the deadline to place yours. Our deadlines must be firm in order to allow enough time to produce the publication and get it in the hands of the readers in a timely manner.

Payment: Payment for ads can be made by check, debit or credit cards. We accept VISA and MasterCard. If your check is not honored by your bank, there will be a service charge of $35 and you cannot advertise again until the check and charges have been cleared up. The one time rate is the charge for placing your ad in one issue of New Spirit Journal.

Color: There is a limited amount of full color space available to our advertisers. If you want tcolor in your ad, the charge is $150 per insertion. This also means your ad must appear on a certain page which is determined by the page count of that particular issue. We are happy to discuss this with you. Please call or e-mail for details.

Placement: Special placement of your ad may be available and costs extra. Please ask for details.

Errors: We are not responsible for any errors in your camera-ready ad or in any ad we prepared and which was approved by you. Any errors which are caused by
New Spirit Journal will be given a credit or rerun at our discretion, depending on the nature and severity of the error.

Ad Content: Advertisers are responsible for the content of their advertising. Readers are advised to use common sense in replying to advertisements and are solely responsible for their own decisions. The placement of an ad in New Spirit Journal does not mean the publication supports or endorses the content or meaning in the advertisement.

Technical Specs: Camera-ready ads are accepted vi e-mail or on disk as grayscale PDF or 300 dpi grayscale TIFF files. (Please remember to embed fonts in your PDF files.) We can also compose your ad at no charge. A signed proof will be required before the ad can be printed. Photos should be supplied to us as high-resolution JPEG format.

Classified Ad Rates:

75¢ per word with a 20 word minimum. The first four words are bold and caps.

Additional bold words: 5¢ each.
Additional cap words: 10¢ each. Additional bold cap words: add 15¢ each.

Free events receive the first 20 words free. Love offering/donation events do not count as free. The ad must state the event is free.

Payment is due at the time the ad is placed unless special arrangements have been made in advance.
